Meet Theresa

Theresa received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University in 2011. While earning her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Sacramento State University, Theresa worked at an after school autism program and participated in summer camp programs for children with physical disabilities. She has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, learning differences, attention deficit disorders, anxiety disorders, conduct disorders, downs syndrome, and cerebral palsy. She is licensed in the state of California and is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.

Theresa has continued to pursue advanced knowledge and therapeutic skills by attending continuing education courses geared toward pediatric development including: The Alert Program, The Zones of Regulation, Handwriting Without Tears, Autism Research, Sensory Processing, visual rehabilitation in pediatrics, visual perceptual problem solving skills, social skills, and pediatric feeding.

In her spare time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors.
