Meet Priya

Priya received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in 2002. Prior to that, Priya worked for a number of years in Autism research as she earned her undergraduate degree in Developmental Psychology at the University of California, San Diego. Her experience over the last 20 years has been in a variety of pediatric settings including the neonatal intensive care unit, inpatient and outpatient hospital rehabilitation,  school-based therapy and developmental clinics. 

Priya is passionate about helping kids learn to eat. For the last 12 years, Priya has been working primarily in the area of feeding therapy; working with children from 0-12 years. Her work in feeding therapy includes work with medically fragile babies, children with developmental, behavioral, gastrointestinal and nutritional concerns, as well as typically developing kiddos with limited diets. She has an Advanced Practice Certification through the California Board of Occupational Therapy in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation or Intervention (SWC).

She is currently offering in-home feeding evaluations and consultations to help children and their families with feeding concerns in their most natural environment.
