Meet Maya

Maya received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009 from Dominican University. Before that she received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UCSD in 2003, where she also played collegiate basketball. She worked at CPMC in the Child Development Center from 2009 to 2014, and now she currently is full time at Connected Kidz, which she founded with Cindy Ng in 2011.

Maya is proficient and skilled in assessing and treating deficits in gross motor, fine motor, and sensory processing skills. She taught preschool at the JCCSF for 6 years prior to becoming and occupational therapist and has a passion for working with children and their families. In addition to working with young children, Maya also coaches high school girls basketball. She coached at Urban from 2014-2020. And is now back at her alma mater, St. Ignatius College Prep and has been the head coach of the Girls Varsity Basketball team since 2020.
